Event Coverage
Bedrock celebrated the grand reopening of Book Tower with a huge block party in August of 2023. This free event featured performances from Grammy-winning artist Miguel, plus performances by DJ Sky Jetta and the award-winning Detroit Youth Choir. A pop-up artisan market, free food from several local food trucks, a historical exhibition Bleuprnt was hired to record content of Kristina Bowman-Smith, an influencer of Bedrock. Our main focus was to capture her experience and first impressions of the newly-renovated Book Tower. We took both photos and videos of Kristina, Book Tower, the vendors, and each performer.
